Goldie Takes A Stand Against Youth Service Cuts

In an ever increasingly bleak situation for UK arts and youth services, UK royalty Goldie has taken to YouTube platform Double Down News to speak his thoughts on the situation. To put things into perspective, it was reported last year that UK youth services have been cut by £387 million in the past six years. With major news publications claiming that gang violence is ‘embedded in our culture‘ (after a 14% rise in knife crime this year), it is clear that many young people are being failed by the system. Goldie speaks passionately about the role of the arts in the healing process, and what he believes we can do to help. While we don’t necessarily have the answers, we have huge respect for Goldie’s work and sentiment. Keep telling ’em!
