West London’s Lord Apex has dropped new track ‘MYSELF’, a link-up with American producer GRIMM DOZA. GRIMM and Apex have worked together before, with ‘PRETTY PENNY’, and definitely have found a fitting musical match with their sound.
While we’re used to Apex usually rapping about how many zoots he’s smoked, or analysing the character’s of one of his favourite video games, this track offers a more vulnerable, sombre side. Apex tweeted that he dropped the track at 3am due to feeling depressed, and that it had already received 3000 plays by the next day. Apex definitely has a loyal fanbase, and we’re proud to be included in that group.
