Knucks – Frostbite (Video)

Knucks is an artist from South Kilburn that we’ve had our ears trained on since he dropped exuberant track ‘Breakfast at Tiffanys‘ last year. On top of being a talented rapper, Knucks has also crafted his own style of beatmaking, often using 70s based samples as inspiration for his bouncy Hip Hop productions (hear an example of this on ‘The Jump‘).

His newest track is entitled ‘Frostbite’, which the video dropped for this week. Directed by Dir. LX, we follow Knucks around his hood in a white BMW, juxtaposed with him keeping the theme sub-zero in an ice bar.

‘Frostbite’ was premiered as part of GRM DAILY‘s The Shortlist compilation, which became available to stream on Friday. The tape is described as ‘featuring the hottest MC’s, rappers and artists that you’re going to be hearing a hell of a lot of over the next 12 months and beyond’, and features exclusive new music from DCRay NiroBerna and more. You should definitely check it out now here.

You can catch Knucks performing next at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton on 18th May.
