In 2014, Chattanooga rapper and Top Dawg Entertainment signee Isaiah Rashad dropped the fantastically promising Cilvia Demo, which instantly turned him into a favourite for many (we saw him supporting for Schoolboy Q in Brixton that year, and he was possibly better <or at least as good as> the Q). He’s had a quiet 2015, appearing only in vague collaborations with closely affiliated artists TUT and Jay Rock. Thankfully, Rashad has returned this week with new track “Nelly” – a haunting number that allows him to showcase his singing skills. Definitely a banger, and he best drop that new album soon coz he’s already becoming the butt of the joke to some of his colleagues ↓
