Mac Miller – “100 Grandkids”

“Getting faded, I been stoned all week / But what’s a “God” without a little “OD” (just “G”)”

Pittsburgh’s Mac Miller has returned after a short hiatus by dropping new visuals for single “100 Grandkids”, alongside release date and name of a new album, and a series of tour dates (including London!). Dropping in as a face in the moon over a middle-school drama rendition of what appears to be Romeo and Juliet, Mac proclaims the new and elaborate video with ‘made a promise to my momma that I’d bless her with some Grandkids / She can spoil them’, before dropping into a 2-parted four-minute and forty second video interestingly interspersed with a P. Diddy “Bad Boy For Life” rendition.

Premiered at Grassroots 2015 last week, “100 Grandkids” follows Miller’s musings over making his first 100,000 dollars and features typically slick wordplay from Mac and funky + fun production from Sha Money XL.

Mac’s upcoming third LP will be entitled GO:OD AM, and is due for release on September 21st.
