A little over two years ago, barely known Irish emcee Rejjie Snow released his debut EP Rejovich. Enlisting early cameos from (at-the-time) unknown heads Jesse James Solomon and Loyle Carner, the EP soon became a cult classic, and is now considered one of the classic UK releases of the last five years. Launching him to relative underground stardom both in the UK and abroad (check this video of him shutting down Paris), Rejjie can now be found selling out shows at prestigious London venues Scala and The Old Blue Last.
It appears as if Rejjie is revving up to drop a new project, with the release of (a potential debut single from it) “All Around The World”. Featuring Pierrot le Fou inspired visuals, Rejjie is joined by Johnny Depp’s beautiful daughter Lily-Rose Depp and Amir Legrone in a surreal and beautifully portrayed police chase, documented from the bonnet of the car.
The track itself offers a more radio friendly (and perhaps more mature) sound than its predecessors. Linking up with Chance The Rapper producer Cam O’bi, “All Around The World” features a laidback piano led instrumental, which allows Rejjie a strong platform to showcase his unique diction and flow, which is decidedly more ‘feel good’ than some of his previous works.
